Low Vision Clinic

We provide a specialist low vision service in both of our practices for patients for whom spectacles or glasses are no longer providing adequate vision correction. We have extensive experience in assisting patients of all ages with low vision. We receive referrals from GP's, educationalists, Eye Specialists (Ophthalmologists) and the persons family / friends.

We can help patients maximise their residual vision and we can refer onwards to appropriate educational / social / specialist organisations if requested . We stock a wide range for Low Visual Aids from hand magnifiers to information on the latest technological aids. We also provide information on different eye conditions. A specialised Low Vision Assessment usually lasts about an hour.
